1 Introductions, apologies and substitutions
The Chair welcomed Members to the Committee. Apologies were received from Keith Davies, there was no substitute.
2 Inquiry into Educational Outcomes for Children from Low Income Households - Evidence session
The Committee heard evidence from the Minister. He agreed to provide the following:
A note on the vacancy rates in each regional consortia;
A breakdown of the School Challenge Cymru funding allocation between the regional consortia and schools.
3 Consideration of the OECD review - Improving School in Wales: an OECD Perspective
The Committee scrutinised the Minister on the review. He agreed to provide a note on the following:
A comparison of European Countries that have rapidly shifted to achieve the 500 score in each of the three domains of PISA.

The motion was agreed.
6 Qualifications Wales Bill - Approach to Stage 1
Subject to a few minor amendments the Committee agreed the approach to Stage 1. A consultation would be launched next week.
7 Committee Forward Work Programme - agree terms of reference for next inquiry
The Committee agreed the terms of reference for their next inquiry into supply teachers. A consultation would be launched shortly.
